There are various types of motors, which will be accompanied by energy generation during use, even with other equipment. Brushless DC motors generate DC power, and many devices prefer this motor when selecting a motor. But the motor must be within the normal speed range to ensure its normal use. What are its speed measurement methods?
1. Hall effect principle velocity measurement method
The rotating shaft of the brushless DC motor drives the magnetic steel on the shaft to rotate, thereby changing the size of the magnetic field. The Hall circuit converts the magnetic field change into a pulse signal, which is amplified and shaped to output a rectangular pulse signal. When the speed changes, the frequency of the output pulse will change. Thus, the speed of rotation of the motor is obtained.
2. Photoelectric speed measurement method
Using grid disc and photoelectric gate to form speed measuring system. When the brushless DC motor drives the grid disc to rotate through the transmission part, the speed photoelectric gate obtains a series of pulse signals. These pulse signals are coordinated by the two timers / counters of the single-chip microcomputer, one counting and one timing. Calculate the number of pulses per unit time m, after unit conversion, you can calculate the speed of the motor rotation.
The speed of the brushless DC motor is related to the service life of the motor and other equipment. The speed of the motor can neither be too fast nor too slow. When measuring the speed, as long as its speed is within the normal range, it is generally no problem to use it for a long time.
